On the road

This is a picture that my Grandad took of my Nanna picking up snacks from a roadside kiosk while on a roadtrip, somewhere in Australia - at a guess it's likely NSW. She loved travelling about and camping too. I love her smile as she is crossing this road and there is something about this photo that really describes how I remember her. It also makes me painfully nostalgic for a time that I never actually experienced.
