I really love the December-January period. It is my favorite time of year because there is get together's with loved ones and people you haven't seen for a long while for Christmas & New Year's, an excuse to indulge in lovely food and lazy holidays. Also, it's often too hot to do anything... bar lolling about and reading!
Last week a good friend treated myself and a couple of other gals to a three day getaway at a beach house in Green Head. It was the perfect end to the holiday season and a really lovely way to begin 2012.
